We’re delighted to share news of our new partnership with Blended Pledge, an organization with a mission so similar to ours we HAD to partner! Together, we are joining forces to create more opportunities, resources, and support for women and underrepresented voices in public speaking.
Blended Pledge creates opportunities and support for ALL voices to be heard on industry stages by removing financial barriers to participating.
We know that approximately half of all event organizers offer zero compensation for speakers which can make it difficult for women to accept these opportunities. (Women get paid less and are less likely to receive support from their employers for “extra” travel and time off to speak.)
Too many talented voices are unable to share their ideas and insights at key industry events – either on stage or in the audience – due to financial barriers. Travel, lodging, and registration costs often prevent participation, holding back innovation and meaningful discussions.
Blended Pledge removes financial barriers by providing grants to cover travel, lodging and event registration costs, empowering individuals to share their ideas and inspire change. Blended Pledge ensures talented individuals can focus on their message—not the costs.
Blended Pledge Grants are tailored to meet the recipient’s needs, and may include:
- Travel and lodging
- Event registration
