Special Innovation Women Offer for Authors
Coming to this page looking for special resources for author/speakers (and podcasters too)? You’ve found the right place. Why do we have special promotional services for authors? Because speaking and authorship often go hand-in-hand. Many speakers discover that authorship helps them be seen as more credible and the status conveyed by authorship helps them command bigger stages. On the other side, many authors become speakers in order to promote their books. Podcasting is another way to promote yourself as an expert.
Innovation Women is an online self-service speaker bureau for technical, entrepreneurial and professional women. In addition to connecting event managers with awesome speakers and speakers with speaking and visibility opportunities, we also offer a special profile for “content creators” (authors and podcasters), and extra services and resources specifically for them. We ask our authors and podcasters to identify themselves on the platform by adding these identities to the list of keywords.
Content Creator profiles are for authors and/or podcasters. These upgraded Innovation Women profiles unlock a whole new level of awesomeness for authors and podcasters. (And, it’s OK if you do both. We’ve got you covered.) This new option includes everything you get in the current (Classic) Innovation Women profile, PLUS:
- Speakers can showcase their books on their profile pages (cover image and a buy now link). Podcaster profiles include a listen now link and cover image. (Do both? Include both.)
- Icons in the Innovation Women Find a Speaker database.
- Authors and podcasters (and publishing or podcasting service providers, consultants and experts) get access to a new private section of the IW Network (our attached community).
- Authors get their books added to the IW bookstore on our site and on Amazon.
- Appropriate books and podcasts can be featured in Lioness Magazine (Book of the Week, Cool Casts for Entrepreneurs, gift guides and special roundup articles).
- Inclusion in the special email and social media promotions we do, including National Book Month, National Authors Day, National Podcast Post Month, Holiday Gift Guide, Amazon Prime Days, Book Lovers (February), Summer Reading, etc.
