In 2019, women are still battling for rights, including equal pay and opportunities in business, amongst countless other gender-specific issues. Even in the most progressive of cities there are still barriers for women to overcome. Progress is not just created by policy change. Women are inspiring change through entrepreneurship, women’s organizations, empowerment, and leadership within large companies. They are taking charge of their lives, in what they believe in, in pursuit of a more equal and progressive world.
