Salary negotiation is more than a paycheck. It consists of multiple aspects all of which need to be considered before and during the interview process. The size of the organization and where it is in its growth cycle has a direct influence on salary negotiation. The degree to which you are comfortable with risk and your personal financial requirements are important when considering a job at a start-up or early stage company. Determining how you compare to others with your same skills and experience establishes realistic expectations. These are some of the areas this session will address.
