The Torgersen Leadership Summit (TLS) is an annual conference held by students of the Virginia Tech Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) in honor of Dr. Paul Torgersen, past Virginia Tech Industrial and Systems Engineering Department head and Virginia Tech president. The event seeks to provide students insight on how they can be leaders in their field upon graduation through presentations and workshops on leadership taught by experienced industry professionals. The theme of TLS this year is “Discover”, as we are aiming to inspire students to seek a life of discovery with journeys for new opportunities.
