Diane Hessan describes herself as a “serial entrepreneur,” having worked at three startups and serving as CEO of two. A graduate of Tufts University and Harvard Business School, her ties to the Boston area are strong, and she has made a name for herself, especially in the startup and innovation community.
Since October 2014, Hessan has served as the CEO of The Startup Institute, which offers immersive education programs for those seeking to innovate.
Hessan has been awarded the Pinnacle Award from the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, the Most Admired CEO award from the Boston Business Journal, Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year, and third on The Boston Globe’s Top Women in Technology List.
