My name is Saija Mahon, I’m a 36-year old business woman and a mum from Finland, however currently living in London UK.
I’ve been living the complex and mysterious lifestyle of an entrepreneur for the past 6 and bit years. My passion has always revolved around marketing, specifically digital marketing. Hence I’ve steered myself towards a career in this arena, which after about 6 years for working for some of the biggest media houses in London, led me to start up my own business.
I love being an entrepreneur. I also love being a mum and a wife. I love to have brought my husband to work in my company with me.
But don’t get me wrong, it’s not all plain sailing. Not even close. Despite being very happy in my life and business, I’ve needed to adapt quite a few skills and talents in order to juggle it all simultaneously, ensuring not only my happiness, but my family’s and my team’s happiness also.
The experiences of my entrepreneurial life lead me to take on an incredible project at the start of last year which I never really thought I would do; I decided to write a book about my experiences, my skills and my tips and tricks that hopefully would help others on a similar path to succeed and find freedom and happiness in their lives as well. The idea of THE MODERN FEMALE ENTREPRENEUR book was conceived. After the rigorous process of writing the book, getting it professionally edited, designed and formatted, I’ve finally got the book out on Amazon, as Kindle and paperback versions. And to me, that’s a huge achievement! I’m not an author at all (well, I guess now I am!). I’ve never ever even entertained the idea of writing a book, until now. It’s amazing what you unlock yourself to accomplish, if you find the passion and drive for it. This was mine. And watch this space; there may be other books too! The writing bug has certainly bit me.
It’s been a wonderful journey. Writing a book as helped me also assess where I am today and where I have come from to date. It’s opened my eyes to my journey so far, what I’ve had to go through, learn, adapt, adopt and change, in order to find my freedom, success and happiness. And I hope the book will be of use to others too. I’ve poured all of my tips and tricks into it. Sharing truly is caring.
